Profielnorm announced today the successful go-live of its ERP solution at its location in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This milestone is a crucial step in the international expansion of Profielnorm, a global specialist in mezzanine flooring.
The implementation in the United States is part of an integrated multi-site strategy that connects the locations in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland, and the U.S.
This enables Profielnorm to efficiently manage complex international projects, with engineering and production seamlessly coordinated across different continents.
Seamless integration with U.S. standards
An essential part of this project was adapting to the specific requirements of the U.S. market. To achieve this, Togetr implemented full integration with QuickBooks for financial accounting and Avalara AvaTax for the automatic calculation of complex U.S. sales tax. In addition, the system now fully supports the use of imperial units (inches) and the U.S. dollar, enabling Profielnorm USA to operate optimally on a local level.
Global collaboration, local strength
Thanks to Togetr’s multi-site functionality, Profielnorm can flexibly allocate projects. Engineering is managed centrally, while the production of steel components takes place locally in the U.S., and specific cold-rolled profiles are supplied from the Netherlands. This shortens delivery times and significantly reduces logistics costs.
